Latest project - Snow White Dress I made for the Delaware Children's Theatre! I custom designed this gown and used a modified Renaissance corset pattern to make it.
I dyed my hair brown!!! This is the first time in my life I've not been a blonde! I used a temporary dye so my hair would be dark for playing Snow White, but now it's washing out and slowly returning to it's dirty blonde color.
I choreographed the dances for Snow White and performed as a 2nd cast Snow White for some of the shows! I will be performing as Snow at DCT again this fall.
A dream come true is that my wonderful husband Daniel has joined the theatre as well! He performed as the Magic Mirror in Snow White and will be starring as the Frog Prince this weekend!! Be sure not to miss it!
This spring I danced a lead role as "Goldilocks" for the Mid-Atlantic Ballet's production of Ever After. Here is me and my co-teacher dancing as Bo Peep. I LOVE being a professional dancer and ballet teacher.
I'm also learning to say NO. As a bit of a work-a-holic, I tend to say YES to anything that sounds interesting, fun or challenging. To the point that I run myself into the ground doing too many things! This summer I'm looking forward to performing in only ONE show and teaching a bit less. Plus going on three relaxing vacations with the hubby and our families!
Hope you all have enjoyed this update!! :)
